Créase el Instituto Nacional de Aprovechamiento de Aguas y Fomento Eléctrico como entidad autónoma con personería jurídica, que se regirá por las disposiciones de la presente Ley.

El Instituto administrará los bienes a él encomendados con la debida consideración a los intereses económicos del país, y será representado como persona jurídica por un Gerente, que será nombrado para periodos de dos años, por su Junta Directiva.
