De conformidad con el artículo 5º. de la Ley 22 de 1909 y el artículo 314, capítulo 52, de la Ley 71 del mismo año, organizase en cada División del Ejército una Intendencia Divisionaria, que llevará el nombre de la División respectiva, la cual tendrá por objeto ejercer un control en la contabilidad y servicio económico de los Cuerpos de tropas.
