Para adelantar trabajos de exploración costera y sísmica submarina en las playas marítimas, en el mar jurisdiccional o en la plataforma continental de la República, se requiere permiso de la Dirección General Marítima y Portuaria, previo concepto favorable del Ministerio de Minas y Energía y del Instituto de Desarrollo de los Recursos Naturales Renovables (INDERENA).
