ARTICULO 125 . En las embarcaciones deportivas la única persona a bordo que requiere de licencia de navegación expedida por la autoridad marítima, es el patrón de la embarcación (patrón deportivo), siempre y cuando que la embarcación salga a mar abierto, tenga más de 6 metros de eslora o lleve más de tres personas a bordo. En todos los casos, la idoneidad de los tripulantes auxiliares será de responsabilidad exclusiva del patrón de la embarcación (o persona que la dirige).
