Las medidas contempladas en la presente ley serán reconocidas sin distinción de género; respetando la libertad u orientación sexual, etnia, la condición social, la profesión, el origen nacional o familiar, la lengua, el credo religioso, la opinión política o filosófica. Las medidas de prevención, atención, asistencia y reparación a las víctimas se desarrollarán garantizando la igualdad formal y material.
