Art. 30°. Para efectuar la división de los terrenos de que aquí se trata es necesario:

Que el padrón o lista á que se refiere el artículo siguiente se halle terminado, y además aprobado definitivamente por el Gobernador del Departamento respectivo.

2.° Que la partición, que en todo caso se hará judicialmente. se solicite ante el Juez del Circuito por todos los miembros del Cabilo menor de la parcialidad, y tenga el apoyo ó voluntad de la mayoría absoluta de los indígenas cuyos nombres figuren en la lista ó padrón aprobado.
