Los desechos que se generen por cualquier proceso productivo, incluyendo los envases y embalajes, adquieren las características de mercancía peligrosa. Por lo tanto, su manejo y transporte se debe realizar cumpliendo los mismos requisitos y obligaciones contemplados en este acto administrativo de acuerdo con la clasificación dada en el literal F, numeral 3 del artículo 4º del presente decreto.
