Articulo 2. Jurisdicción y domicilio . El Instituto tendrá jurisdicción en todo el territorio nacional y su domicilio principal será la ciudad de Bogotá D.C. El Instituto tendrá acción en todas las regiones del país de conformidad con las disposiciones legales vigentes y, por disposición del consejo directivo, se podrán crear Direcciones Territoriales que pueden o no coincidir con la división general del territorio, coordinando sus actividades con las de otros organismos y entes territoriales para el eficaz cumplimiento de sus objetivos y funciones.
