La actuación disciplinaria debe consignarse por escrito, en idioma castellano y en duplicado, salvo las excepciones previstas en este Código.

Las demás formalidades son las que prevé el Código Contencioso Administrativo; pero cuando la Procuraduría General de la Nación ejerza funciones de polícia judicial se aplicará el Código de Procedimiento Penal en cuanto no se oponga a las previsiones de esta ley.
