Artículo décimo. En todo contrato de exploración y explotación de petróleo de propiedad nacional se estipulará que seis meses antes, por lo menos, de vencerse el período inicial de exploración, el contratista deberá instalar dentro de la concesión por lo menos un equipo completo de perforación, que mantendrá trabajando con la debida asiduidad. Queda en estos términos sustituido el artículo 54 del Decreto 1270 de 1931.
