El secuestro de una nave se hará mediante su entrega a un secuestre, que puede ser el capitán de la misma, previo inventario completo y detallado de todos sus elementos, practicado con asistencia del armador o del capitán.

Las oposiciones se tramitarán conforme al Código de Procedimiento Civil.
