El Gobierno Nacional deberá, procediendo de conformidad con los merecimientos de este ilustre colombiano, a través del Ministerio de Educación y el Ministerio de Cultura, promover actividades etnoeducativa y culturales, orientadas a rescatar y vincular activamente su legado a la historia nacional, creando y estableciendo normas que permitan su difusión.
