Como auxiliador y cooperador del Gobierno y del Consejo Nacional de Agricultura, establecese en la capital de cada Departamento un Comité Departamental de Agricultura integrado por tres (3) miembros, nombrados por la Sociedad de Agricultores del respectivo Departamento.

El Gobierno Nacional de acuerdo con el Consejo Nacional de Agricultura fijara las atribuciones de los Comités Departamentales, quienes además asesoran al respectivo Gobierno Departamental en todo lo relacionado con el fomento agrícola y pecuario.

Parágrafo

En los Departamentos e donde no haya Sociedad de Agricultores, todos los miembros serán nombrados por la Junta Directiva del Banco Agrícola Seccional respectivo mientras se organice la respectiva sociedad de Agricultores.
