Los miembros de la Policía Nacional cooperarán permanentemente en las medidas destinadas a contener, prevenir o reprimir cualquier atentado contra la defensa, conservación, preservación y utilización de los recursos naturales renovables y del ambiente, y en coordinar las labores de las diversas organizaciones existentes en la comunidad, encaminadas a dicha protección y defensa.
