Ámbito de aplicación. El presente capítulo aplica a las víctimas que con posterioridad a la entrada en vigencia de la Ley 418 de 1997, es decir el 26 de diciembre de 1997, hubieren sufrido una pérdida de capacidad laboral igual o superior al 50% como consecuencia de un acto de violencia suscitado en el marco del conflicto armado interno.
