Los Registradores de instrumentos públicos y privados de las capitales de Departamento llevarán por duplicado los libros de Registro, anotando las escrituras que tengan números pares en una serie de libros, y las que tengan números impares en la otra serie, cuando el Gobierno así lo disponga por ser a su juicio necesaria tal medida para el buen funcionamiento de la Oficina de Registro. Se llevará también, en tal caso, un libro especial para registro de poderes.
