Se entiende por enfermedad no profesional, todo estado patológico morboso, congénito o adquirido, que sobrevenga al empleado oficial por cualquier causa, no relacionada con la actividad específica a que se dedique y determinado por factores independientes de la clase de labor ejecutada o del medio en que se ha desarrollado el trabajo.
