Cuando las condiciones de la localidad lo permitan, el Síndico abrirá una libreta en una Caja de Ahorros a cada uno de los condenados que tengan en su cuenta un saldo mayor de veinte pesos, e irá consignando mensualmente en dicha caja las sumas que vayan quedando a favor del condenado.
