El Fondo de Previsión Social de Notariado y Registro FONPRENOR reconocerá y pagará a los notarios y a los empleados de los notarios el auxilio de cesantías que se cause a partir del momento en que empiece a funcionar. Para lo anterior FONPRENOR, se ceñirá a las normas previstas en el Decreto extraordinario 3118 de 1968 y las que lo adicionen o reglamenten. Los Notarios transferirán al Fondo de Previsión Social de Notariado y Registro, el valor total del auxilio de cesantía de sus empleados causados a partir del 1º de enero de 1985, dentro de los tres (3) meses siguientes al momento en que empiece a funcionar la entidad y mediante los procedimientos que determine su Director.
