Art. 1.° Cuando la Ley ó el contrato respectivo no fije término especial para dar principio á las obras materiales privilegiadas, éstas deberán iniciarse á la expiración de seis meses contados desde la sanción de la Ley ó la fecha del contrato. En caso contrario, el privilegio se tendrá por extinguido ó caducado.
