Los sindicatos tienen la facultad de federarse, aun cuando pertenezcan a distintas regiones o profesiones. Las federaciones gozan de personería jurídica independiente y tienen los mismos derechos y prerrogativas de los sindicatos que las componen, siempre que se ajusten a las disposiciones de esta Ley.
