Art. 12. Ningún empleado que deje de prestar sus servicios tendrá derecho de recibir sueldo del Tesoro público, á menos que sea por causa de enfermedad aguda y grave, legalmente comprobada, caso en el cual sólo podrá abonarse la mitad del sueldo que tenga asignado el empleo que desempeñe, y por un tiempo no mayor de tres meses en cada año.
