Para los fines de esta Ley, la mercancía que se importe a la República se considerará consignada al tenedor del respectivo conocimiento de embarque o a quien haya sido endosado debidamente por el consignatario o el consignante, si la mercancía estuviere consignada a la orden. Se tendrán por consignatarios a los aseguradores de la mercancía abandonada y a los salvadores de la mercancía salvada. Vigente desde: 19/06/1931 y hasta el: 25/10/1984
