La Nación, por sí sola, o en cooperación con la Intendencia del Chocó, procederá a efectuar los estudios, planos y presupuestos para el establecimiento de centrales hidroeléctricas para el suministro de fuerza motriz y alumbrado a los siguientes grupos de poblaciones de la Intendencia:

Quibdó, Riosucio, Bagadó, Carmen de Atrato, Acandí, Jurado, Nuquí, y Sautatá;

Istmina, Condoto, Tadó, Nóvita, Sipí, Pizarró, Opogodó y Cértegui.
