Articulo 14 . El vigilante deberá portar en el desempeño de sus actividades la credencial de identificación que para el caso expide la Dirección de Policía Judicial e Investigación de la Policía Nacional La actividad de vigilancia no le confiere el carácter de autoridad pública.

Parágrafo

Para la prestación del servicio de escolta a personas, se requiere poseer la credencial consagrada en el presente articulo.
