El artículo segundo literal f) del Decreto 2437 de 1983, quedará así: Leche ultrapasteurizada (U.H.T.): Es el producto obtenido mediante proceso térmico en flujo continuo, aplicado a la leche, a una temperatura no inferior a 132ºC durante por lo menos un segundo, seguido inmediatamente de envasado aséptico en recipientes estériles a prueba de luz, impermeables y cerrados herméticamente, de tal manera que aseguren la ausencia de todas las formas de micro-organismos vegetativos y esporulados, sin alterar de manera esencial ni su valor nutritivo, ni sus características físico-químicas u organolépticas.
