Remate virtual. El remate virtual es la celebración de la audiencia para la venta forzada de bienes, que se realiza a través de una herramienta tecnológica, dentro del proceso administrativo de cobro coactivo que efectúa la Unidad Administrativa Especial Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales -DIAN, una vez en firme el avalúo del bien, en concordancia con las disposiciones contenidas en el Estatuto Tributario y en el Código General del Proceso.
