La acción de extinción de dominio se adelantará de oficio por la Fiscalía General de la Nación por información que llegue a su conocimiento, siempre y cuando exista un fundamento serio y razonable que permita inferir la probable existencia de bienes cuyo origen o destinación se enmarca en las causales previstas en la presente ley.
