Objeto y ámbito de aplicación. La presente Sección tiene por objeto establecer las condiciones y operaciones destinadas a dar cumplimiento a los objetivos de la Subcuenta de Garantías para la Salud del Fosyga o quien haga sus veces, definidos en el artículo 41 del Decreto-ley 4107 de 2011, en armonía con lo previsto en el inciso 3° del artículo 68 de la Ley 1753 de 2015 cuando ello se requiera. Las disposiciones aquí previstas, son aplicables al Fondo de Solidaridad y Garantía (Fosyga) o a la entidad que haga sus veces, a las Instituciones Prestadoras de Servicios de Salud, a las Entidades Promotoras de Salud y a las Entidades Financieras vigiladas por la Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia.
