Artículo quinto. Las sanciones disciplinarias se aplicarán teniendo en cuenta la gravedad de la falta comprobada o su repetición, y consistirán en multas de diez a quinientos pesos; suspensión del cargo hasta por sesenta días, y destitución del mismo, todo ello sin perjuicio de la responsabilidad penal en que puedan haber incurrido los funcionarios, cuando se trate de actos u omisiones que tengan carácter delictuoso.
