La participación del tenedor de una libreta de ahorro e inversión será redimible cuando se retire voluntariamente del fondo, cuando abandone el plan de ahorro y cuando termine el contrato de trabajo. Con aprobación del Superintendente Bancario la Junta Directiva reglamentará los casos de abandono del plan de ahorros y el derecho de rehabilitación. En todo caso de redención se cancelará la respectiva libreta de ahorro e inversión.
