El Gobierno procederá a fundar en Pasto una escuela de enfermería de cuya organización se podrá encargar el Colegio Médico de Nariño, quién suministrará el profesorado gratuitamente. El número de estudiantes no será menor de veinticinco (25) y las becas se distribuirán de preferencia entre aspirantes pertenecientes a las regiones afectadas.

Parágrafo

Las enfermeras y enfermeros así preparados desempeñas los oficios hospitalarios y además los siguientes:

a). Labor educativa mediante visitas domiciliarias;

b). Vigilancia permanente sobre la higiene individual, familiar y social;

c). Vacunación antivariolosa y antitífica;

d). Deberán dictar clase de higiene en las escuelas rurales y urbanas de las regiones donde trabajan.

PARAGARAFO . Cada becado tendrá una pensión mensual de veinte ($20.00).
