Modifíquese el artículo 162 de la Ley 599 de 2000, el cual quedará así:

Artículo 162. Reclutamiento ilícito. El que, con ocasión y en desarrollo de conflicto armado, reclute menores de dieciocho (18) años, los utilice o los obligue a participar directa o indirectamente en las hostilidades, o en acciones armadas, incurrirá en prisión de ciento cincuenta y seis (156), a doscientos setenta y seis (276) meses y en multa de (800) ochocientos a (1.500) mil quinientos salarios mínimos mensuales legales vigentes.
