Los grados de Teniente Coronel a General, o su equivalente en la Armada, que confiera el Gobierno, se someterán a la aprobación del Senado de la República. Obtenida dicha aprobación, el ascenso producirá todos sus efectos con la fecha que determine el Decreto que lo confiere.
