Las instituciones y entidades enunciadas en el artículo 137 de la Ley 30 de 1992, así como las demás habilitadas por ley para ofrecer y desarrollar programas académicos de educación superior, forman parte del Sistema de Aseguramiento de la Calidad de la Educación Superior y por lo tanto se sujetarán a las disposiciones de la Ley 1188 de 2008 y del presente capítulo, en coherencia con las modalidades, los niveles de formación, su naturaleza jurídica, tipología, identidad y misión institucional.
