La Contraloría General de la República podrá practicar visitas fiscales, incluidas visitas de campo; consultar fuentes de información; tomar muestras representativas; realizar encuestas, entrevistas o cualquier otro procedimiento técnico sobre objetos de control fiscal, que sea necesario para determinar riesgos de daño al patrimonio público.
