De conformidad con lo dispuesto por el artículo 3° del Decreto extraordinario 2600 de 24 de diciembre de 1943, el Instituto podrá vender al Banco Agrícola Hipotecario cartera de la Sección de Vivienda Campesina, hasta por una suma equivalente al cuarenta por ciento (40%) del capital pagado de dicha Sección. La cartera que se venda deberá reunir todas las condiciones que establecen las disposiciones vigentes y los estatutos del Instituto, para préstamos a los campesinos.
