Vigencia y derogatorias . El presente decreto rige a partir del 1º de noviembre de 2002. Durante el término comprendido entre la publicación del presente decreto y su entrada en vigencia, se deberá efectuar la validación de los procedimientos requeridos y se adoptarán los mecanismos que garanticen el adecuado control de los recursos objeto del proceso de compensación del régimen contributivo del Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud y, una vez entre en vigencia, deroga el Decreto 1013 de 1998 y demás disposiciones que le sean contrarias.
