Créase la Granja Agrícola y Pecuaria Antonio José Restrepo , que se orientará especialmente hacia la enseñanza practica y científica de los diversos cultivos de la región; hacia la avicultura, apicultura y horticultura; y en donde funcionará además un puesto de monta de ganados vacuno, caballar, mular, ovino porcino. Asimismo, en dicha Granja se establecerán viveros de árboles frutales y de los adecuados para la repoblación forestal de la misma zona.
