Término de la licencia. La licencia portuaria para construir y operar embarcaderos es de dos (2) años, pero podrá prorrogarse por períodos de dos (2) años indefinidamente, demostrando el peticionario que el embarcadero conserva las condiciones técnicas para la operación, que cumple con los demás requisitos acreditados para su otorgamiento, y que sigue siendo conveniente para el desarrollo económico y social de la región.
