Los Oficiales de los Servicios pertenecientes a las Especialidades de Justicia, Sanidad, Veterinaria, Ingeniería, Arquitectura, Química y Física, deberán cumplir con los requisitos de pruebas para ascenso en cada grado, adelantando Curso de Capacitación con una duración mínima de doce (12) semanas, en las Escuelas de Preparación Militar que determinen los Comandos de Fuerza, de acuerdo con la especialidad respectiva. Estos Cursos pueden ser conjuntos.
