El título, es el reconocimiento expreso de carácter académico, otorgado a una persona natural, a la culminación de un programa, por haber adquirido un saber determinado en una Institución de Educación Superior. Tal reconocimiento se hará constar en un diploma. El otorgamiento de títulos en la Educación Superior es de competencia exclusiva de las instituciones de ese nivel de conformidad con la presente Ley. Parágrafo. En los títulos que otorguen las instituciones de Educación Superior se dejará constancia de su correspondiente Personería Jurídica.
