Las empresas establecidas en zona franca gozarán de libertad cambiaria o estarán sometidas al régimen legal de control de cambios, según las reglas que se establecen en los artículos siguientes. En el primer caso, las empresas podrán poseer y negociar libremente toda clase de divisas, tanto dentro del área de la respectiva zona como en sus operaciones internacionales. En el segundo, todas las operaciones de cambio exterior se someterán a las normas del Decreto extraordinario 444 de 1967 y demás disposiciones sobre la materia.
