Para efectos del artículo anterior, adicionase el Decreto No. 3404 de 1950 en el sentido de crear como la más alta categoría de la Medalla "Francisco José de Caldas" la de "Profesor" y que en el Diploma correspondiente se cambie la leyenda; "En vista de haber obtenido el primero puesto en el curso de… en el año de …" por: Como Profesor Militar de …", (aquí la asignatura o asignaturas).
