Las escuelas - hogar están destinadas exclusivamente a proporcionar educación a la mujer, en un año de estudios, en actividades artesanales, artísticas, economía doméstica y mejoramiento del hogar. Durante el proceso de aprendizaje los alumnos producen bienes de uso y de consumo que les permite obtener beneficios económicos propios.
