° Para las nuevas industrias esenciales a la economía nacional y que utilicen más del 90% de materias primas nacionales, podrán concederse, a juicio de la Junta Directiva de la Oficina de Control de Cambios, licencias para la importación de maquinaria y equipos fabriles en un porcentaje mayor al señalado en la presente resolución. Se entiende por nuevas industrias, aquellas que se dediquen a la explotación de un ramo industrial inexistente en el pais en el momento de concederse las licencias.
