En el caso de que un General, Jefe ú Oficial muera célibe o viudo y sin hijos legítimos, su madre legítima ó natural tendrá derecho á la asignación correspondiente, y mientras permanezca, según el caso, en estado de viudez ó en el de celibato, y observe buena conducta.
