º. Los miembros de la Junta Directiva y el Director del Instituto no podrán hacerse acreedores a premios o estímulos que establezca el Instituto, durante el ejercicio de sus funciones ni dentro del año siguiente a su retiro.

Parágrafo 1

º. El desempeño de sus funciones como integrantes de la Junta Directiva del Instituto constituye ejercicio de funciones públicas, sin que por tal circunstancia adquieran la calidad de funcionarios públicos.
