Domicilio de afiliación. Es el municipio en el cual tiene lugar la afiliación de una persona al Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud. En dicho municipio, o en un municipio cercano por residencia o facilidad de acceso y de acuerdo con la elección del afiliado, la Entidad Promotora de Salud, deberá adscribir tanto a este, como a su núcleo familiar a una IPS primaria, como puerta de acceso a su red de servicios en dicho municipio y por fuera de él.

Parágrafo

Para los efectos de este Título, los distritos y corregimientos departamentales se asimilan a los municipios.
