Con ocasión de reunirse en Bogotá, D. E., en el año de 1959, el III Congreso Panamericano de Odontología Infantil, por haberlo dispuesto así el II Congreso Panamericano realizado en Miami (Estados Unidos de Norteamérica) en noviembre del año de 1957, y para que tal Congreso se realice como corresponde a Colombia, destinase la cantidad de noventa mil pesos ($90.000.00) moneda corriente, del Tesoro Nacional, para atender a los gastos que demande la organización y realización de tal certamen científico, los cuales serán entregados a la Sociedad Colombiana de Odontopediatria.
